Named the only certified green catering company in Napa County by the Bay Area Green Business Program, Elaine Bell Catering appreciates sustainability and the integrity of ingredients used. We strive to use organic, sustainable produce, hormone-free meats and poultry, as well as wild fish approved by the Monterey Aquariums Seafood Watch List.
Elaine Bell Catering has partnered with Napa Recycling and Waste Services (NRWS) to allow for complete recycling and composting both at our state-of-the-art kitchen in Napa, as well as at events. All of our events are supplied with trash, recycling, and compost bins to ensure that each and every item is disposed of properly.
Elaine Bell Catering’s Napa facility was created and designed with energy efficiency at the forefront. Warehouse lighting has been replaced and energy saving dual speed fans were installed in our walk-in coolers. Computer controlled sensors and motor controllers were installed which match the speed of our kitchen hood fans to the heat and steam load. These changes have reduced kilowatt hour electricity use by 16.5%. Being Green is a passion at Elaine Bell Catering.
